Founding Speaker of the County Assembly of Nyandarua, Advocate of the High Court of Kenya

Ndegwa Wahom is the founding Speaker of the County Assembly of Nyandarua serving his second five year term (2013 – 2017, 2017 – to date). He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 20 years of practice, having been admitted to the bar in 1997.

He graduated with a Second Class Honors (Upper Division) Degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Nairobi in 1995. He is also a holder of a Post Graduate Diploma in Advocacy from Kenya School of Law (KSL).

He has served as the Chairperson of the Law Society of Kenya, Nyahururu Chapter (2010- 2019) where he championed for the rule of law and public interest litigation as well promoted welfare of Advocates in the Mt. Kenya region.He has served as Chairperson of several Boards of Management and Director of various learning and social welfare institutions.

He is currently the Chairperson of the County Assemblies Forum which is the coordinating body of the 47 County Assemblies in Kenya. Ndegwa Wahome is a Family Man with a Wife and Five Children; 3 Boys and 2 Girls.
