Dorothée Allain-Dupré oversees the work programme on multi-level governance and decentralisation, which contains both thematic products and country reviews. She recently supervised the 2019 OECD report “Making Decentralisation Work: a Handbook for Policy Makers”. She is in charge from the OECD side of the World Observatory on Subnational Government Finance and Investment (SNG-WOFI), established jointly with UCLG.  She has led several projects linked to multi-level governance, public investment and regional development, including the OECD publication ‘Investing Together: Working Effectively Across Levels of Government’, as well as Territorial and Metropolitan Reviews.

Prior to that, Mrs Allain-Dupré worked in the Budgeting and Public expenditures Division of the OECD Public Governance Directorate, where she was in charge of public employment and budgeting issues. She started her career at the cabinet of the prefect of police of Paris.

Dorothée holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Sussex, a Master of Public Policy from the Ecole Doctorale of Sciences-Po, and she graduated from the Institute of Political Sciences (Sciences-Po) Paris.
