She holds a PhD in Architectural, Urban and Interior Design at the Politecnico di Milano, where, she teaches Urban Design. The PhD research focused on the forms of living in Pemba, Mozambique. The Mozambican case study is the third (after Sao Paulo and Hong Kong) of the ongoing research project SpontaneousLiving Spaces that focuses on the documentation of the places’ culture of living. Since 2014 she is assistant visiting professor at the Josai International University (Tokyo) and in 2016 she was invited to hold workshops and speeches by international institutions such as the University of Science and Technology (Wroclaw, Poland), the Lublin University of Technology (Lublin, Poland), the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (Baku, Azerbaijan), the Toyo University (Tokyo, Japan), the Tohoku University of Art and Design (Yamagata, Japan) and the International Union of Architects (Baku 2019 Forum).She is founder and board member of the Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco and scientific coordinator of the International Institute Life Beyond Tourism® for the development of territories through travel for intercultural dialogue. She develops research and educational activities creating encounters on the topics of the Life Beyond Tourism Model and Movement and she follows and develops the researches related to the European Projects Erasmus+ S.U.R.E, Erasmus+ UNINET and Erasmus+ Educational Game
