Fatmata Shour

Fatmata Shour is an actress, model, and poet from the Koinadugu District, in Sierra Leone. From a young age she was drawn to public speaking and performance, and is finally pursuing her educational career in Law at the University of Sierra Leone. Activism and speaking on major themes for the most vulnerable in Sierra Leone has become her latest focus, and has influenced her most recent poem which will be presented in this panel session: "Life in the Slum, Still I Rise”.
