Coordinator, Development Partners Network on Decentralisation and Local Governance (DeLoG)

Since October 2019, Christian Luy coordinates the Secretariat for the Development Partners Network on Decentralisation & Local Governance (DeLoG). Before that he worked as an advisor in the GIZ Advisory Programme Governance on topics such as decentralisation, sectorial governance, political participation and Agenda 2030. Until September 2018, he coordinated for many years a programme in Honduras to support decentralisation in the education sector. His thematic focus ranges from basic education, to civic participation and decentralisation reforms. Christian holds a master’s degree in political science, economics and Spanish philology from the University of Trier in Germany.
