Being in politics at a youthful age made me to realize my ability to serve others, my involvement started in 1988 when I was a chairperson of a student organization. I believe that we cannot flourish in our own space without involving in business activities as politicians. I therefore place business as a best leverage for all women in politics.
Hon. KATRINA SHIMBULU was Elected as Town Councilor Oshakati in 1997, Business Women and part time farmer self-empowering 2000, Elected as Mayor 2007, and she is actually Mayor, President Association of Local Authorities in Namibia 2019-2020, President of REFELA Gender Women Commission of Southern Africa & Vice- President of REFELA- Africa 2019-2021
